What We Do
We work to bring the community together to create early intervention systems and promote positive cultural behaviors that help prevent substance abuse and suicide. We use data to support current issues, and our resources, funded by county prevention grants, are based on proven methods. We believe local problems are best solved with local solutions.
How we do it
- The office of Prevention works within the community to identify root causes of substance abuse and suicide.
- Coalition members are empowered to bring solutions that benefit without causing harm.
- Community partners find issue solutions that are systematically beneficial.
